Your photo. If you add a product photo, it is read in memory, sent to our AI provider to note what's plainly visible, and never saved to disk or kept.
Your listing. The text you paste, your notes and the rewrites are kept so you can view, edit, revise and download them, and are deleted automatically after 7 days. You can delete a listing sooner, or all of them from your account page.
Processors. Your text and photo are sent to our AI provider (xAI) to write the rewrites, under its API terms. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card. If you sign in by email, we store your email address to send sign-in links and receipts.
Emails. We send email through our email provider, Resend, and replies go to support@paperchore.com. You get sign-in links and purchase receipts because you asked for them. About 7 days after you buy credits, we send one short email asking how it went. It goes once per product, only for real paid purchases, and you can simply reply. It includes an optional link to join the PaperChore newsletter. The newsletter is shared by all PaperChore products and is double opt-in: you are only added after you click the confirmation link we email you. Every follow-up and newsletter email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops follow-up and newsletter emails from all PaperChore products (sign-in links and receipts still arrive when you request them). To honor that, we keep your address on an unsubscribe list, and we keep a record that a follow-up was sent so it is never sent twice.
Cookies and analytics. We set an account cookie that keeps your credits and listings linked to this device, and a first-party "src" cookie that remembers which link you came from for 30 days. Analytics are aggregate daily page counts with no IP addresses or tracking cookies. To limit abuse, IP addresses are held briefly in memory for rate limiting and aren't stored.
What we don't do. We don't sell your data, use your listings for advertising, connect to your marketplace accounts, or put listing contents in our logs.
